It seems that winter just does not want to leave. But, finally, last week we did have a break from the cold and rain. This allowed us to start the earth moving and drainage phase of Country Mews Estates.
The first operation was to place the temporary slope pipe that will divert water during the construction of a detention pond on the southern end of the project. This operation is pictured below:

After installation of the slope pipe we striped the topsoil and started the earth moving operations. Erosion control devices were placed last week.

Unfortunately this past week the rain and cold weather has slowed down the operation but we are ready to push ahead as the spring weather improves.
The next operation will be to lay out the Storm Water pipes and structures and continue with the topsoil removal.
