Northwestern Lehigh School District has begun the implementation of a Master Plan to renovate and expand existing facilities. Site work for the first phase has been awarded to Wessner’s Excavating LLC.
Site work will include a deep cut seven bay subsurface storm water management system, erosion control, clearing & grubbing, earthwork, storm drainage, Highway Occupancy Permit road widening and seeding & stabilization. Because site work will be performed throughout the school year student safety is paramount.
Northwestern Lehigh School District is located in the northwestern section of Lehigh County and serves an area of 110 square miles or 1/3 of Lehigh County. The district has a population of approximately 13,500 residents and is formed by the jointure of four townships; Heidelberg, Lowhill, Lynn, and Weisenberg. One unified school board, consisting of nine members, conducts all business for the school district which includes policy-forming, administrative, supervisory, and instructional programs.
